Roleplay-Special Abilities School

Ariana rolled her eyes. He had left his condoms out in the hall, what did he expect her to give them back? She put them in her hand, narrowly missing Gavin's head. 'Whoops, sorry.' She said. 'I guess I have to work on my concentration.' She said sheepishly, feeling slightly guilty about nearly taking him out with a box of condoms.

Gavin, blushing a bright red which rivaled his hair, scurried from the classroom, disappearing from sight on the way out. Condoms? Those two troublemakers had the strangest conversations before, and he sat quietly through most of them during class, but... condoms? How terribly unorthodox.

He maneuvered through the halls, unseen, only to ram headlong into his sister, Eden. She wasn't pleased, and judging by the height of the scrunched look she shot up, she knew it was him.

"Gavin." she said. "You shouldn't be invisible in the halls, it's a hazard." She knelt down and scooped up her books. "I know," he mumbled, fading slowly into view, kneeling to assist her. She pushed his hands away when he got close. "Sorry, Eden." he said. Her response was a quick, "Hush. Be careful." And she scooped up her books and hurried away, leaving him embarrassed and wanting to disappear again in the middle of the hall.

Maron sat down on a bench outside the classroom because she had time before class. she turned invisible and just curled up on the bench and sobbed

Gavin rocked his weight on either side for a moment before he realized he was interrupting the flow of hallway traffic. He shuffled off to one side until he found a way out of the crowd by slipping out next to the bench beside his following class. Still flustered over his sister's rude hushing, he tossed himself carelessly onto one edge of the bench.

Gavin shrieked and he dove off the bench, tossing his books to the floor. Before his elbows could catch him, he was already invisible again. "I'm sorry!" He yowled, terrified, "I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!"

He glanced over his shoulder to look at her and a blush surfaced beneath his freckles. "Gavin," he responded quietly. He turned over and shyly reached a translucent hand up to meet with hers. "Gavin Munsie."

Not being one to object, Gavin nodded. "My lunch hour is next anyway..." he mumbled quietly. He scooped his books up and piled them on the bench. "I was planning on going to the cafeteria... is that okay, ma'am?" He looked up at her quietly.

'She was watching?' Gavin thought. He thought on his answer for a moment. He thought better than to lie directly. "My sister," he said, "Eden." He hoped that she at least hadn't seen her long enough to notice that they had nearly nothing in common. His nose was long and straight and hers was very convex. His face was thin and hers was round and her chin was pointed, he had dimples and she didn't, his eyes were green and hers were a vibrant blue, he was pale and had freckles and she was somewhat tanned, he had red hair and she had brown hair. Despite this, they did have two things in common; he was tall and so was she, and neither of them had much muscle to their thin frames.

He nodded quietly. "I wouldn't suggest it, but..." He hesitated for a moment. Then he shrugged. "Okay. I think she's got the same lunch as us, I've seen her at least passing through a few times."

Meanwhile, Eden had just finished swapping Lit. for World History, and she was trying to messily Frogger her way across the hallway to her classroom.

Gavin scooped his books into his arms and followed her in quietly.

Gavin only just met her-- her... Mary? Maria? No, Maron. For some reason he felt somewhat obligated to sit by her. It might have been their mutual power, or it might have been the fact that she had actually spoken to him. Either way, before he thought twice, he found himself sitting in the back, despite his inefficient hearing.

The periodic table was simple enough for Gavin. Matching letters to words, numbers to letters, it was mostly just memorizing and matching accordingly. Gavin was excellent at memorizing. He had been in the school plays through middle school and part of high school, and if he wasn't the lead, he was the understudy or the secondary. That was one of the few times he could project his voice more than a few yards, was when he was onstage, as someone else-- when all he had to do was memorize and repeat. Obviously, he was about to ace the quiz.

Gavin was entirely unaware of how many people would turn in his test... and with any luck for the three of them, neither of them would have thought to directly copy his essay. Very confident in his answers, he promptly turned his test in.
